20 hrs of ground school
Pass a 30 question multiple choice (PHRAC) exam obtaining at least 60%. |
| Experience |
Minimum 30 hrs total helicopter time; with minimum 17 hours dual flight time including 5 hrs (3 hrs may be simulator) of instrument flight time and 3 hrs of cross-country flight time.
Minimum 8 hrs solo flight time-including 3 hrs of cross-country flight time with 1 cross-country flight of not less than 100 nautical miles and 2 full stop landings at points other than the point of departure. s |
