Northern Winter Training
Flying in Northern Ontario in the middle of winter can offer many new challenges and thrills. We are offering a one week course in Northern Ontario for students to gain that experience and knowledge.
Operations that will be covered are:
- Sling training (long line and short line)
- Confined area landings in deep powder snow
- Flat light operations
- Heli pad construction (short term and long term)
- Proper care of machines left outside overnight
- Winter survival techniques
- Shelter building
- Signal fires
- Fire starting
- Ice Fishing??
